Where are you located?

Our business is located in the Santa Clarita Valley and Mark Miller the owner  lives in Canyon Country.

Will you provide me a guaranteed price and send it to me immediately via e-mail?

When you call us we will ask you questions to determine the likely cause of the problem and give you a guaranteed maximum price on your repair.  We will be happy to send you the guaranteed price in writing via e-mail or text message upon your request immediately after your call.

Will you show me a copy of your contractor’s license and provide evidence of workers’ compensation insurance?

 Our license number (714194) is printed on every business posting and listing including our website and can be verified at the State Contractors Board website www.cslb.ca.gov. Proof of Workers’ compensation insurance can be found on file with the Contractors State Licensing Board at www.cslb.ca.gov. 

Does your company have a perfect record with the Better Business Bureau?

Valencia Overhead Door has been in business since 1993 and has had thousands of customers. We have never had a complaint filed against us with the Better Business Bureau or any other organization. Our current rating with the BBB is an A plus.

Will your company give me a reasonable time window and arrive on time?

We generally give a 3 hour time window and work very hard to be on time. In busy periods, that time frame may go up to 4 hours. We would rather give you an accurate time frame that is slightly longer, than mislead you with a narrow time and then show up late.

Will you provide me with a complete list of your customers?

We will provide you with a list of all of our customers over the past three years when we visit your home. You may review the list and take as much time as you need to find some names of people you know. We encourage you to call those you know and ask them about their experience with us.

Will you state in writing that the replacement parts you will use are new? We

will provide a statement to you in writing that we only use new parts that are compatible with your door.

How long is your repair warranty and will you provide me all of the details in writing?

We offer a one year warranty in writing on all material and labor for most repairs and new installations of garage doors and garage door openers. Not all repairs come with a warranty. We are happy to discuss with you the particular details of your repair and what the warranty may or may not cover prior to commitment or completion of any work.

Can you prove to me you’ll be around in six months, a year or in two years to back your work?

There is no way to prove or guarantee a company will be around in the future. There are many things we do to try and show we are here for the long term. We live and work in Santa Clarita and have included our address on all business documents, listings and profiles. Our website domain name is old and established and our web hosting is paid for the next 10 years. We have a fictitious name statement filed with the Country Recorders Office, our web domain is publicly registered, our address is public and consistent throughout all search engine databases. You can view our profile on our Better Business Bureau report, The CSLB and major search engines like Google, Yelp and Yahoo.
